Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Named as Top 10 Pipeline for Fourth Consecutive Year by
R&D Directions Magazine
January 22, 2008 - R&D Directions magazine has selected
Wyeth as having the Best Women's Health Pipeline as part of the magazine's
annual Top 10 Pipeline Report. As part of its global R&D efforts, Wyeth is
developing new medicines in several therapeutic categories specifically or
predominantly affecting women, including osteoporosis, menopause, breast cancer
and uterine fibroids, among others.
"Being honored as having a top 10 pipeline four years in a row is a testament
to the efforts we have made to build a world-class pharmaceutical research
organization," says Robert R. Ruffolo, Jr., Ph.D., President, Wyeth Research,
and Senior Vice President, Wyeth. "Being recognized for our efforts in women's
